For your enjoyment, we recommend the following:

• Bathing suits for the hot tub (and in case you made the reservation at the swimming pool).

• Full-body swimsuits in case you're thinking about a dip in the ocean or Gualala River. Both can be cold, even during summer.

• House slippers, because we have a no-shoes policy inside our home.

• Hiking shoes and a camelback or water bottle for walking along the trails or hanging out at the tide pools.

• Sunscreen and sunglasses; the locals say to "expect the unexpected" when it comes to Sea Ranch weather.

• Nespresso or Keurig coffeemaker (we have a Cuisinart 12-cup coffeemaker) and a toaster oven (we have a toaster).

• Our kitchen is well-equipped, but at times we have received requests for a food processor, vacuum sealer, sous vide machine, air fryer etc., that we request you bring along if you need them. Please ask us if you have any questions.

• We do our best to keep the kitchen stocked with food protection/storage supplies such as baggies, aluminum foil, plastic food wrap, parchment paper, etc. However, we observe an honor system in this regard and ask our quests to replenish if an item is being completely used up.

Lastly, some guests bring their own supplies along (based on personal preference):

• Bed and bath linens, especially a favorite pillow.

• Kitchen and bath soap/shampoo (for those with sensitive skin), even though we supply these in the kitchen and each bathroom.

• Smoke detector
